Enlighted offered its consulting services for this illuminated version of the human circulatory system. The outfit was designed and constructed by artist Mark Hansen, and worn as a performance art piece at Burningman 2000 and 2001.
A hooded bodysuit is covered with two hundred super-bright red LEDs. Blood vessels are represented by silicone tubing and side-emitting fiber optics. The lights are animated to simulate a beating heart and pulsating blood vessels.
