This piece of wearable performance art was originally created by Janet Hansen for Burningman 2000. Over the past few years, it has appeared in fashion shows, masquerade contests, circus performances, and on TV on Ripley's Believe It Or Not!

as seen on Ripley's Believe It Or Not!

The base of the costume is a hooded bodysuit made of purple metallic spandex, and it is covered with a few hundred LEDs in rainbow colors. It includes a brain made of translucent plastic and strategically placed nerves composed of silicone tubing and household sealant.
