Janet has been a frequent invited speaker at the Smart Fabrics and Wearable Technology conference. In April 2014, the conference was held at Merchant's Exchange in San Francisco, CA. Janet presented her work on lighted costumes in the entertainment industry, primarily focusing on the design and construction of the lighted jackets for the Radio City Rockettes.
