Gray Velvet Smoking Jacket

Enlighted was commissioned to decorate this jacket in 2010. The client provided the base garment, a smoking jacket made of gray crushed velvet, with a black satin collar.

We installed about 80 cool white LEDs on all surfaces of the jacket, in a scattered star-like pattern. The lights were animated in a random twinkling pattern. 

The battery pack and custom LED controller are held in the front pockets of the coat.
