LED Jeans

This pair of jeans has been decorated with 20 LEDs, with 10 running down the outer seam of each leg.

We used bi-color LEDs, which have two kinds of emitter chips within each lens. In this case, they can display red, blue, or pink when both emitters are active. We built a custom LED driver to animate the red and blue circuits separately, so that pink appears when the patterns overlap.
