RGB LED Wings

These oversized butterfly wings are illuminated by several hundred RGB LED pixels. The lights are handsewn onto a sheer fabric layer stretched over a curved metal frame. Additional layers of sheer black mini sequin fabric cover the front and the back, so light can be seen from either side.

The wings have built-in adjustable straps and are worn like a backpack. The controller and battery back are held in a zippered pouch on the center of the back.

The lights are animated in a variety of color-changing patterns, including several sound-reactive effects.
